timing question

What are you guys running your timing at?Had my carb rebuilt and they said its a 1970,only has full vacumn ports it seems.Do you run the full vacumn or not use it and adjust timing without. Mine is running full vacumn but if i remember correct had the line off when timing was set.Its a 1971 350 motor and 350 trans.

Re: timing question

for a stock engine between 4-8 initial , and 32-34 total , vortec heads can run less total and modified engines like more initial
