Thumbs down anyone buy from dashes direct????

i just installed a dash pad i got from a vender selling on e-bay,it is very poor fit,had to drill 2 holes for the top inner studs and the ends are too short, about an inch on each side from going to the window pillars.

i would stay away from this company!!!

Hmmm I put one on last week i bought from a board vender and the fit was good, although it was 1/4" shorter on each end than the original, but it fit and looks good. I had one several years ago that needed three of the holes redrilled and none of the front screws would fit. (unknown brand) I guess you just have to take a chance when buying one.

I bought my dash pad from www.truckandcarshop.com- went right in-no adjustments. Can't remember the price, but pretty cheap and fast delivery. I think john is right---always a gamble.

I bought one from Ricks Pickup Parts. The price was right, though I haven't installed it yet as it is for another project down the road someday.

Got mine from Tim Christian. Great doing business with him. As for the dash, it fits o.k. It is a little short on each side, but the install was easy.
