68 cab and shortened Bed on blazer frame

So I have no clue where to post this but here it goes. I'm really wanting another 4x4. I have a super solid 68 C10 but it's LWB 2wd. I want short so I was thinking about 73+ Blazer. I realize they are super short and it will have an ultra short bed but I'm okay with that if it could work. Has this been done! Pros Cons advise? What should I look for big hang ups in fitment? 67-72 4x4 frames of any length are like gold here in KY it seems so I think blazer would be cheapest bc they are dime a dozen.

I believe I would go with a pickup frame. You could get a regular short bed frame. I know you would have to change the cab mounts. A Blazer frame seems like it would be a lot more work than it's worth unless you just want that short of a bed. It would be about 4ft long. TMO..
