Nos Sheetmetal Thickness

Would anyone know off hand what is the thickness of original Gm Sheetmetal. What I am wondering is... what is the difference between goodmark bedsides and Nos bedsides.

I have an ultrasonic thickness tester and I've been curious, so I just ran out and this is what I got:

Original fender, .060"
Repro fender, .040"
bed side, .028 - .030"
outside of tailgate, .050"

Just a quick check.

Are the bedsides you checked Repo or original?

If Goodmark is thinner it's not by much since both my original fenders and repros weigh close to the same. Unless the material is denser they must be close.
