Its with me up in edmonton currently. Its a 15 footer. On a shortened s10 chassis, Its getting the mill out of my Chevelle, 6.0l lq4, stock rotating assembly but turbo cam, head studs, along with the billet 76 bw turbo. That combo went 9.5@144 in my chevelle on 16psi. Also installing a 4l80e and a 9" with converging 4 link. I just want to do rolling burnouts in the thing, beat on the car a little less with the new combo thats going in. lol You probably know my car, 72 Chevelle, cream colored with a turbo ls swap. |

Re: Show off your Wheels
Did it fit exactly or did you have to grind the wheels a little to make them fit?

Re: Show off your Wheels
1995 Corvette ZR1 wheels. I used two sets of front wheels. 17x9.5 -52mm offset. 275/45-17 on all corners. I powder coated them Speedway Grey with Casper Clear topcoat.

Re: Show off your Wheels
Do you know how wide your rear end is? I’m wondering if I can fit 17x9’s without tubbing the bed. My rear end is 62” wide

My 17x9.5 wheels have a little room to go out (towards fender), but with the huge positive offset, they sit in a little bit, so I cut the bed and will add small tubs. I may reverse this if I change rear end and use different wheels. Long story short, with proper offset/backspace, you should be able to fit a 9" wheel without tubbing. I 'm probably going to swap to either a 3rd Gen Axle (61.5" WMS-WMS) or a Ferd Exploder 8.8, but shortened 3". I don't know what that width will be, but it'll center the pumpkin and be close to the width of my Jag IFS, so I can run similar backspace front and rear.

Eshahak - they slid right in. No modifications necessary. I get a lot of compliments, people seem to like them. The price was good, and delivery was fast. Have bought more from them since then and never had a problem. Post a picture when you get em installed!

Re: Show off your Wheels
They are out there. Be patient. I sold some last year. SomeToyotas have the same lug pattern. Add them to your searches. I see them on Craigslist and eBay from time to time. Just gotta hunt them down.

Re: Show off your Wheels
My original wheels that were beat up
Then I bought these but I could not lower the truck,no fender clearance. So after not finding wheels that I liked and would clear the front fenders I bought new 18inch wheels for my C3 corvette. The front wheels on the Corvette were 17X8 so I machined the centers out of the front alunimum TT II and moved the centers out to the edge then after a good polish the fronts clear just fine. The rear 17X9 from the Corvette fit as ther were. |
