Vent windows
I was recently given a couple of 72 doors. and gutted them out for parts and windows. The first question I have is the chrome on the vent windows is pristine where in my truck they are the painted black and clear glass. Since I have to replace the windshield due to previous owner lack of windshied wippers. I was going to match up the glass in these doors. The only problem is the rubber in the new vent windows are shot. Is it easier to send it to a glass place to replace it or is it hard to do it yourself?
All advice would be greatly taken. |

Here is a thread on the rebuild. It is in the FAQ forum. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=153937 I know there are more threads on the subject but I didn't run across them. LockDoc
