WIW - 60's Brush Guard
I was able to pick up a Smash Hit brush grille guard today, made by The Perry Company Waco Texas. Anyone have any idea of what this is worth? The PO said it was offered through the dealer catalog at the time, but I'm thinking aftermarket.

Re: WIW - 60's Brush Guard
I have seen them from $5 to $200, I saw that one on CL and considered it but it was painted and flaking so I didnt contact the seller. Rechroming those would be ridiculously expensive ( just like all chroming).
I am pretty sure they were aftermarket although the dealers may have offered them..... If it is something you like and want on your truck, go for it and make it yours! I personally like them, i have two partials and wish i could find a complete one for my dad's truck, but it would have to be nice though.

Yep, that's the one from CL. I picked it up for $150 and am going to strip the paint off this weekend and see what condition it's in. I've never tracked this type of item before and was just curious if I way over-paid or not.
