no fuel to carb
Rebuilt 402. New tank and sender. New fuel pump. Blew out all the lines.
Fuel pressure comes and goes .....filling up clear filter then empties. Edelbrock 750 carb. Any suggestions?

Re: no fuel to carb
Do you have a closed system? If so... you need a vented fuel cap.

Re: no fuel to carb
Does it run?
If not dribble some gas into the carb and see if the fuel pump feeds the carb enough to keep it running. |

Re: no fuel to carb
Yes it runs. Yes it has enough gas.
It starts and runs down the road just stumbles at times and then at idle the filter ruins dry and the refills.

Re: no fuel to carb
Stumbling could be caused by too much fuel pressure. Max is 5 psi.
Ignore the filter thing. I had one did the same. Kept running just like yours. What's your initial timing set at? |
