What size pipe to use for upper RAD hose replacement

Want to get stainless pipe to replace upper RAD hose. I know I use 1 1/2 hose for upper but thats ID, right??
What size pipe should I get??

I used 1 1/2 and that's the same ID as your hose.

be sure you put some sort of ridge or lip on each end if you make a pipe.
If your system builds up too much pressure, it could blow the rubber hose off the metal pipe.

Just TIG welded it up from two 90 degree bends with a ring of 3/16 stainless filler rod for the lip to hold the elbows on.

Ok so more like 2 1/2... I'm gonna make one for my truck this weekend ill pm you when it's done. Won't take 20 mins to do one with the orbital welder. Might be able to do 2
