49 3100? what engine do i have.
i am the second owner but it might have an engine swap sometime. just wondering what i have now. top of engine is blue and bottom is red. has the 3/8 pulleys on the gen, water pump, and crank pulley. block number has 'gm 3835497 21' on the right. 'con3 k200' on the left. does it have the babbit crank bearings?

216 or 235 with babbitt rods. It doesn't have rod bearing inserts. If it's the original motor, it's a 216.
