Then shot satin antique white on the top and interior. The floor, firewall and back section were coated with a few coats of lizard skin rubberized coating. Soon I'll put dynamat over that.

I blasted and painted all of the steering column components and rebuilt it with new bushings and turn signal assembly. Then mated everything up to the new steering knuckles and rack.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that my shop is infested with scorpians. I have to be careful setting tools on the floor because those little bastards will be under it within 10 minutes. I took a pic of these two babies that I found because they were so tiny that I didnt even realize what they were until I got closer. I put the keys and razor blade next to them for perspective.

It's just single stage with flattening agent added to it. The trick to getting a smooth paint line between the green and white using single stage is to remove your tape while the paint is still curing and then run your finger down the paint line and you can actually smooth out your paint line. With bc/cc, you can clear over your 2 colors to have a smooth paint edge, but sometimes with single stage the edge gets pretty prominent.

Re: Powerslave's 66 SWB LS1 laid out with PB

Here's some pics of my last car that I built. I'm thinking about selling it once I get my truck finished. It's a 1956 Chevy Wagon and I put a 5.7 TBI motor out of a 94 suburban. I redid the entire drivetrain with disc brakes, dropped spindles, power brakes, air conditioning and rebuilt turbo 350. The car was just a shell when I bought it, so I sandblasted in the interior and re painted everything and put in new upholstery. The outside was a cool patina paint job that's about 20-30 years old, so I didnt even touch the outside.
