Re: Attempting the "$50 paint job"
For the pretty minimal additional cost, it does seem worth a try. I really want to buy a truck on cl that is in good shape but has crappy paint, and try painting it with this stuff and see how it turns out beer I use it on my truck.

Re: Attempting the "$50 paint job"
There are 30 colors. So probably more than rustoleum? And you can get metallics.

Re: Attempting the "$50 paint job"
Here's the color chart. I'm not advocating for this company. Just wanting to put it out there as an option for people.

Re: Attempting the "$50 paint job"

Re: Attempting the "$50 paint job"
There are a few options and tractor supply has there brand MAJIC with different colors.
![]() I used John Deere Blitz black (Satin Black) which is $39 a gallon plus thinner and hardener. I spent about $150 on paint, a few cans, and other stuff and mixed it 8:2:1. Then sprayed my 67 mustang. I didnt prime at all, put 2 coats on the first go, wet sanded and then put 2 more thin coats on. This covered everything. The first 2 coats left some spots showing through where bondo was and plus i messed up a bunch and had runs but it was easy and i did it in a 9ft wide carport. I plan to spray my 78 GMC with this as well
