Post I cant decode my VIN numbers

I cannot seem to be able to decode the VIN numbers on my 1967 GMC pickup. Some things mathch, but everything else doesn't. Please help me. My VIN numbers are: KM1590DZC1140A

GMC and Chevy have way different vin codes, you cant decode gmc with chevy decoder

M=V-6
15=1/2 ton
9=127in wheelbase
OD= Wideside
Z=GM assembly plant code
C=model year
1140A= serial number sequence

Tim is pretty close but the 1 identifys the 1/2 ton and then the 59 is the cab to rear axle length... to determine the wheel base... Hope that what Im saying is correct.. pretty sure

Hey Rod I was going by the info in the GMC truck master parts book this is the best book I have ever bought about GMC's
