Cool Doghouse from a 73?

Hiya,

Anyone know what a good front clip from a 73 burb is worth??

depends on what part of the country you are in.

Up here in the rust belt a clean & complete front clip (all 4 fenders, hood, and core support) is worth between $350-500.

I would bet in the south, they are worth less due to the non-rust issue (or near no rust issue).

It would have to be the deep south. Here in NC, if you see any 73 trucks running around, which I don't remember seeing one in years, they are rusty as all get out. We get snow in NC, not as much as Jeff for sure. But when we do, they go crazy with the slag crap. Even mention snow around here and people go into a frenzy at the grocery store. Don't even ask me about them driving in the stuff.

I think I remember reading somewhere that GM started using a better coating on the metal and undercoating in 81. I guess this is the reason you see so many of these years still going strong around here, and not rusted all to hell.

front of my 83 is galvanized looking under the paint and primer.

anything that old id say $250-300 in good shape it aint really old enough to be outdated yet
