Update!

I cut out a filler piece for my gas filler hole with the help of my sheetmetal buddy. I started on a sandbag with a rawhide mallet, got to use a pneumatic shrinker to shrink the edges, and finished it on an English wheel.



Here is the compound curves I was able to get from this process.



So, when I got home I welded it in after some minor adjustments. Not the greatest job, but it will do.



After some metal finishing.
