71-72 Grille for sale
** Price Reduction ** Now $150.00.
I have a driver quality front grille for a 1971-72 C10 for sale for $175.00. I live in the middle of Missouri and would prefer pick-up at my house, or any "Pony Express Relay" type arrangement buyer can get together. Less desirable option would be buyer pays shipping and preparation / boxing to send. I do have access to Greyhound shipping close by. I would think that the fees would be less than FedEx or UPS if it comes to that? Payment by U.S. Postal Money order or PayPal (if you add onto total payment to cover fees on my end). PM me for PayPal account for receiving payment. I have tried to show dings and nicks in the pictures, but if you need more info just ask. Please keep responses in this thread and first "I'll Take It" is first in line. If money doesn't come in 2 weeks, then next in line has it, and so on. Here are a few photos - I will upload more in next post: Thanks - Jay Self Last edited by Clatterville trolley; 01-21-2014 at 07:30 PM. Reason: Price adjustment |

Re: 71-72 Grille for sale
I'd be interested in just the insert if you are willing to split and ship...for the right price of course.

Re: 71-72 Grille for sale
Right now I would like to sell it all together, but if it doesn't sell this way after a while I might consider splitting it up. If that happens I will keep you as first chance to buy. Thanks for your response. Jay

Re: 71-72 Grille for sale
Bumping this to the top with a request - please tell me if I am out of line on pricing this grille. I have been watching as a lurker and sometimes purchaser on here for a while, but just recently paid to become a premium member so that I could sell some of my extra 67-72 parts. Not out to try and make a fortune on each listing, but would like to cover my time and effort expended - I do this for fun.
I buy and sell on a few other marque specific sites and realize there are spoken rules and unspoken rules that are often different on each site. So, my request is, set me straight so that I comply with all the rules to be a contributing member here - one that is a pleasure to deal with and purchase from. Thanks for indulging me as I wait to hear some input. Jay Self |

Re: 71-72 Grille for sale
Do you have any other 67-72 parts for sale?
I might be in Columbia this weekend.

Some front fenders, one hood, some stock 6 lug wheels, a bench seat, a door and some smaller items as well. I will be at home all day today (Saturday) and tomorrow after 4 p.m. I live right off of Stadium Blvd exit about a 1/2 mile to the north. Thanks for the inquiry - Jay |

Please post some pics.
Might be interested in the sheetmetal or the seat.

Re: 71-72 Grille for sale
OK, I know that something is only 'worth' what someone is willing to pay for it - looks like I was too high on my grille, so I am adjusting the price downward to $150.00 with all the payment and shipping conditions staying the same.
Also, if you are interested in any of the parts in the pictures posted in this thread that I listed in response to another member's request - ask away. Thanks for your time. Jay |

Re: 71-72 Grille for sale
Clatterville trolley,
What are you asking for the 68 fenders with trim on them? I'm interested but will need to arrange a pickup unless someone comes to the swap meet in Wichita this coming weekend. Mike |

As for the fenders - the 68's are the last picture shown in the post with the seat and other sets of fenders - the driver's side is quite good shape and the passenger needs the 'cup' on the front, but the rest is darn nice. If I sold the fenders separate from the trim I was going to ask $85 each or $150 for the pair and sell the trim and emblems by themselves for $20 each on side trim, $10 each on headlight trim, and $10 each on emblems, and $5 each on side lights. Having said that though if you want them as they are sitting and I don't have to take them all apart I would do $120 each or $220 as a pair plus shipping if not possible to get a 'Pony Express' to Wichita worked out. I can take more pictures if you want to see more specific areas to help make up your mind. Thanks, Jay |

I'm interested if we can get a pony express. I have a few but your look a little betterthan the ones i have stashed. Would like to see reverse side pics too, if you don't mind. Lower rear and front cup area. Are these original paint? I might take a trip to classic or LMC in a few weeks if we cant get them here pending pics. Mike |

Payment has been received!! Even though I tried to derail the process by accidently giving out the wrong email address, but Jeff prevailed and I will be shipping his new grille to it's new home tomorrow. Thanks so much for everyone's interest - Jay P.S. Still have fenders for sale, see pictures in earlier posts of this thread. |
