1991 k5 lift questions.
I've got a 1991 k5. It's got 33 1250s on it now. It's never been lifted to my knowolge. I want to lift it just enough to get 35s on it. The goal is still to be able to get it in the garage when I have the top off. If I can't oh well but that's the goal. Thanks in advance

Re: 1991 k5 lift questions.
I had a 4" lift with bald 35" courser ct's and it would fit just very slowly. Then i wanted bigger!

Re: 1991 k5 lift questions.
i guess it depends on your garage height too....i got a 6 inch lift with 35's and i have about a half inch of space to spare, in my garage
when i bought my lift i ordered a 4 inch lift and rough country sent me a six inch lift with 4 inch shocks...just something to think about if you go with rough country...im not complaining but it rides rough i.e. rough country...haha....i do want to order some new shocks someday for it...riding on springs sucks

Re: 1991 k5 lift questions.
4" springs up front with a shackle flip out back (no blocks). Clears 35's with ease. Some have had to clip the front lower corners of the fenders to clear at full turn with some compression to the suspension, but it don't take much.
Any 4" spring will do. Look at spring rates if you are picky about ride quality. My Rough Country springs don't ride that bad for me. As far as the shackle flip, ORD or DIY4x both have great kits for the rear.
