Rims & Tires on a Lowered '66
I am neck deep into my '66 Chevy Fleetside/Longbox overhaul. So far I've done a fuel tank relocation, all new lines, electric pump, filter, AN conversion, Weiand intake, Holley Carb, carb spacer for the fuel system on a mildly built 383. I found an awesome aluminum radiator/shroud/electric fan combo from a company in Cali and redid the cooling system. Reconditioned the existing electrical system and added a new/separate circuit for all the new electronics.
Phase two is a disc brake conversion, Auburn locker, 2.5 inch front/3 inch rear drop, a 5x5 lug conversion, and general suspension upgrade. I am looking at rims and tires now, and have found a set I like, my question is, will 18x9s and 20x10s fit under my Chevy? Does anyone have any experience with this or advice? Thanks Ole |

You will have to modify the rear wheel tubs to get the 18 x 10's to fit the rear. I am running 17x9's and here is the problem with them.....
