Shocks for a bagged 64

I've done the forum search and gone to the FAQ and read a ton of things there, but still not sure what will work on a bagged truck. I saw a lot of answers for static drops. Will the KYB 344055 and 344068 shocks work with a bagged 64 with 2.5" drop spindles and a bolt in notch in the back? Thanks

Re: Shocks for a bagged 64

I just posted a spread sheet on the KYB part number thread.

For the front shock: Without the shock installed, measure the center to center of the mounting holes for the shock mounts when the truck is aired out. If that number is equal or more than 9.75", then the 344068 shock will work for the front. If it is less than that number, the shock will bottom out before getting all the way down to the aired out stance.

For the rear do the same thing aired out, if the measurement is equal or more than 11.75", then the 344055 shock will work. If it is less then that, the shock will bottom out before the suspension does.

Hope this helps. If you do measure your truck, can yo post up some pictures and measurements?

Re: Shocks for a bagged 64

I appreciate the help. I'm still in the process of bagging the truck. I was ordering some more parts and was hoping to be able to go ahead and order the shocks at the same time. I can post some pics once I get further along.
