Do i need to boost reference the fuel pump to bring up the pressure with boost? I plan on running the stock distributor, besides locking out the vacuum advance where should set the base timing to start tuning. I've read thru your thread and hopefully i haven't skipped over something important. I'm not looking for huge power, just like the idea of a turbo'd inline with air ride.
Ok, with my experience. You HAVE to get your fuel, timing, spark, and boost pressure under control.

-- I would recommend upgrading to a HEI. (easy to set timing curve- I can give you my exact setup) Initial is set at 8 deg. > all in is early 2500 rpm and locked out at 25 deg.
-- I modified my factory fuel pump. It is boost referenced from the carb hat. ** fyi, if you have not got a mechanical pump yet, get one from a 84 inline 6, the base pressure is 6-8, which will get you a little more than a stock 66 pump which is 4-6
-- I am also using a Holley 350 cfm which does just fine. I drilled my PVCR's to .078" which is too large. Go smaller. My jets are 61 right now with a 4.5 size Power Valve >>> that will probably be changed to a 2.5 soon.

I tell you what, this little engine / setup continues to amaze me. I am running right under 10 psi right now. I just finished up swapping my T5 for a 700R4. I will have to post a video soon. It pulls so strong.
