Cheap easy fix for you is the JB weld, but here's a tip..
Take the drill bit you used, and cut a small piece the width of a dime off the top of the drill rod. Put that "disc" of metal into the hole you drilled, it won't fall through, and will cap the hole so the JB weld doesn't ooze through the hole as it sets.. Scuffing up the metal around the hole and cleaning it with acetone would be a good idea as well. J.

1 US dime = 1 mm. I keep one in my tool tray- to set spark gaps on Japanese cars. Also, a US nickel weighs 5 grams. And, no, I'm not admitting anything else!

I put i little metal plate in there. Not a krone hehe. And sealing on the top, then it sat for 3-4 days and it worked 100% no leaks.
