What Speakers are you using
Hello:
I have made the rear panels out of birch plywood and was thinking of installing new speakers in them. or going with some kind of box speakers. Not a big bass thumping guy. I haven't bought any car speakers in decades so totally out of the loop. Thanks |

Re: What Speakers are you using
No need for big bass thump, but a subwoofer really lets the system perform to it's peak.
I like Kicker speakers. I know a guy that works there that was a participant here in the past and know they are a good group. 4" separates in the front door PANEL (made mine out of 1/4" plywood covered in black vinyl) and 6 1/2" co-axials in the rear panels as high as possible between front and rear seat. I have a single 12" subwoofer in a 1 cu ft box behind the rear seat. All of this powered off a Kicker 5 channel amp so you can balance/fade between all of the speakers for optimum sound.
