Highlander Trim Question
I see that all Highlanders came with Parchment seats, seatbelts and door panels. How about the steering wheel, dash pad and headliner. I've got a black dash pad and headliner (after market steering wheel) John

Re: Highlander Trim Question
Dash pad, column, wheel and carpet were black. Highlanders didn't have headliners

Re: Highlander Trim Question
John,
From my Highlander blurb. Highlander Plaid trim codes All include black dash pad, steering column (with or without tilt) and carpet. In addition the door panels, visors, console (Blazer only) and seat belts were always parchment (white). Seat vinyl was also parchment and the insert color is determined by the specific code. So the ONLY variable color keyed component was the insert color of the seatcovers. That interior picture I posted to your other thread "Found My Build Sheet" is very correct. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...47&postcount=7 As Joe pointed out the headliners came in at the Z84 trim levels, Cheyenne in 71-72 and CST for 69 late-70. Is was not offered seperately. But your truck is a Monday build so.... :-) Thing to do is to see if the headliner molding slots are in the roof or not.

Re: Highlander Trim Question
It looks to me as if the headliner shown in the photo was added afterwards. Original headliner trim doesn't have that many screws. I believe there is only one at each corner originally. The roof of trucks originally equipped with a headliner had the slots punched that Tim mentioned above. The plastic trim had tabs that snapped into these slots.
