Re: gimp lowering
Cool truck, it will look pretty cool if you end up close to the photoshop. Heres a pic of my old 65' it had heated coils (done by the P.O.) which I wouldn't recommend. But is probably close to the height you are aiming for.
How much are you planning on cutting? I wouldn't cut much more than 1 full coil, that'll get you approx 2". If you want to go lower than that and keep any quality of ride you'll need to go to drop spindles.

Re: gimp lowering
Is that a C20? I also want to drop mine (1965 C20) 4/6 inches - front/rear. Would love to know how you end up doing it.

Re: gimp lowering
yea 64 c20, plan cutting 1 1/2 coil up front for rear was planning tj springs but havent decided ,friend gave me 3 inch blocks for rear so might try that and combo of lowered springs trying to go as low in rear without notch, which i think is 4-5 inches

Re: gimp lowering
C20 Or 3/4 ton springs a stiffer and you can get away with cutting a slight bit more then you can with 1/2 ton springs. I run 3/4 springs in my 1/2 ton lowered. Its a much better ride.
