Well I consulted the bible- the 46-72 Chevrolet Light Truck Parts Catalog, May 1978 edition, Group 3.451. It's somewhat ambiguous and up for interpretation, not unlike THE Bible.

It calls for the "bolt-in" style for All 60-66 (p/n 2388493). It then calls for the "ball stud" style for 64-66 trucks EXCEPT 4WD & 4-Spd ( p/n 3834072). So what that means is all 60-63s got bolt-in. All 64-66s with 4WD & 4-Spd got bolt-in; same part as 60-63s. All other 64-66s got ball stud. Another way to say it is that high humps got bolt-in, low humps got ball stud.

Great score on the "power brake" pedal cover....they are one of the hardest parts to find for these trucks....ive been looking for a long time.
