Lower Rear Short Bed Patch Panels Help!!?

So I ordered these Lower Rear Panels from LMC, driver and passenger side (Part #'s 38-7274 / 38-7275) and they're not even close to a match.
First off you can only buy them in Longbed and have to be cut down (I anticipated this)
So I get them in and the body lines don't match up, it doesn't have the bevel line down like the factory edge of the bed does.
The panel goes well above the taillight location and also doesn't have the mount for the support brace under the bed.

So my question/hopes is someone could point me in the direction of an ACTUAL replacement that will work.
I see Brother's makes a nice one but was hoping for advice before I throw away more $ on a part that won't work.

To make things worse, after I pay shipping, + restocking fee I would get back $10 if I was lucky, so I'm stuck with junk panels.

On a positive note, so this isn't a Rant! I replaced the passenger rocker from LMC as well, and it fit great

I'm just guessing but it sounds to me like the one you have will work just fine you just need to trim it down aftermarket body panels are not direct fit they never were and never will be , for example the right front fender patch they make is to short about 1" or so to short I put mine on and had to cut it in half and add metal to lengthen it , if I patch another front fender I'm gonna order two of the patch panels and cut them in half to make one , long story short patch panels are something to work with post some pics of that patch held up against your bed and I can assist a little better ,

Hey -- I may have a patch panel that would be perfect for this. I bought a long bed (As you mentioned) patch panel from American Metal Direct so I could get the front lower corner (right behind the tire) So I cut out what I needed, and I still have the back side of the panel. I am 99% sure it wraps around the back edge too..

The only problem is I cant remember if it's Driver or Pass side. IF you're not in a big hurry I can check on it for you. Just pay shipping and it's yours.

It's at my Pop's house.. I'll check on it for you if you want.

I kept the old piece just incase I have to piece it together, There's not a rush but it's irritating ya know (haha)
If it turns out to be the passenger side and you're not using I'd love to have it.
I actually have to do this on the driver's side too but it's no where near as bad with bondo so unless I find the correct parts I probably won't mess with it.
Just let me know whenever you get around to looking at it.

Here's a picture of it. It is the pass side. I could just cut it off so it's not as long and it may fit in a flat rate box. I just needed the area right behind the tire (what part you see cut out of course)

It looks pretty similiar to the LMC one but it's worth a shot, if you're sure you don't need it I'll take it. I won't need the whole thing if you would cut of the excess piece i'd appreciate it.

Nobody has a rear lower section that matches the truck. All that are out there are what are referred as crash parts. WES
