Local 71/72 Ext. Cab Dually
I saw this truck this past week while running a few errands. I passed it before I realized what it actually was, so on the way back through I made it a point to stop and look at it. I didn't have my digital camera in the truck but my wife had her iPhone, so I hopped out a snapped a few pics. For the local guys it was located out front of Southern Off Road, in Alpharetta.
The interior had a 73-87 dash with bucket seats, but no console. I tried to get a few pictures of the interior but they didn't turn out taking them through the glass. It had a fiberglass bed cover that had a bowtie airbrushed on it and in the bowtie it had "blown 454". I didn't raise the hood to confrim it. It also had a Missouri inspection sticker on the driver's side of the windshield. I didn't see a for sale sign on it, but it's probably safe to say that it was. Enjoy!

That truck was for sale in Gainesville about 5 years ago at dealer for like 17,500.
Here's a few shots of it then. It did have blown 454 in it with TH400 IIRC.

I used to drive by that every day going to work... I don't miss GA 400. It looks to be a very well done truck, I never stopped to look at it though.

That's one of the better custom dually beds that I've seen.

Wow. I really like that.
It needs the steps, spare tire on side, and front bench seat. I'm hard core stepside though! |
