Re: aftermarket rear hatches
There isn't a Suburban listed in your signature. Are you asking about a Burb?
All the OEM were metal. There was a person in AZ that made new replacement fiberglass Suburban hatch but was kicked off for posting an ad. Word was he got mad about his treatment here.

Re: aftermarket rear hatches
He didn't "get kicked off"... He stomped off all mad because he didn't want to pay to be a vendor here, just like every other vendor here does to sell their merchandise to the forum members.

He PM'd me and said he didn't think he should have to pay to be a vendor because he was "doing the members on here a favor by selling them". LockDoc

Re: aftermarket rear hatches
I'm confused.....Are you sayin that guy that didn't want to pay to be a vendor is not producing hatches any longer, or are you simply saying members here will hafta find him some other way?

Re: aftermarket rear hatches
Who knows if any were produced? IIRC, he was looking for a minimum number of units, with deposit, to start production. It seemed like he had already built the molds and a prototype.

Re: aftermarket rear hatches
That looks like the same guy. He was located in scotsdale. Maybe he changed his mind about making them.

Re: aftermarket rear hatches
I don't know jack about what it costs to make stuff, but man that is expensive ... glad I don't need a gate, steel or fiberglass.
