72 chevy truck rear speakers placement ideas
My fuel tank is still behind my seat . Needing ideas on where to put some 6x9 speakers. Or brackets that would work with tank in cab. And i don't want to cut holes in my doors. Thanks Bret

Re: 72 chevy truck rear speakers placement ideas
I put 4 Pioneer shelf mount speakers under my seat with Velcro.
they had a 5" 3" and a tweeter, sounded real good until I over powered them with a 600 watt amp and cooked them. other than that you don't have any options for 6x9 I picked up some 350 watt 4 ways Pioneers and put them in a box from ABC warehouse and there just setting on the passenger floor board for now. |

Re: 72 chevy truck rear speakers placement ideas
I have always used the old style kicker type boxed under the seat. Sub, mid and tweet all in the same thin boxes with an amp between them on the hump. Tweets and mids pointing forward and sub pointing up.

Re: 72 chevy truck rear speakers placement ideas
i think is a on going problem , here is my answer to my truck
in my area there is a wood working store and shop called "WoodCraft" plenty of guys there that do side jobs, as well as instruction class on wood working. i would recommend finding a local wood shop see what you can get done, mine cost me around 60 bucks to get made and it is solid
