What size brake line do I need???
I finally am to a point where I can rebuild and install my brakes, lines included.(lines are pretty much non-existent) I was going to buy a kit from Inline tube, But I decided to make my own. So I bought their flaring tool, Which is AWESOME I might as well say. http://www.ebay.com/itm/181212183753...84.m1423.l2649
Ok now to my original question. My truck is a Frankenstein project. Pieces from just about every year. LOL The brake lines have been botched. So what is the correct size for the rear and front brakelines. I'm going to be using SS. I believe. advantages or disadvantages???? I know I could figure it out, but Im being lazy and decided to give you guys a shout.

Re: What size brake line do I need???
IIRC, drum/drum use 1/4" all the way around and disc/drum systems used 3/16" in the front and 1/4" for the rear.

Re: What size brake line do I need???
Thanks guys, From the remnants of line there, I do believe it is 3/16 up front for disc, and the 1/4 going to the back. Another reason I decided to buy the flaring tool, was so I could make my own fuel and trans cooler lines, and give it a more professional job. I had bought pne the other type of flare tools, I would get more frustrated trying tomake a set of lines then it was worth. So in the bottom of the tool box that one will go.
