Speedometer Cable
What is the easiest and most efficient way to lube the cable? What should be used for lubrication? Want to do it right whether or not it is the easiest way!

I take mine loose top and bottom, pull the inside cable out from the top, wipe it down with a rag moistened with mineral spirits or some other form of solvent, spray some carb cleaner down inside the housing (A good penetrating oil would probably work for this too, but NOT WD-40) lube the cable with a light oil and put it back together.
