how do you adjust doors that sit too high?

The drivers side sits perfect and closes so smooth but the passanger side has to be slamed really hard and is pretty tough to even open. The top of the door rubs on the top of the cab. Any suggestions??

I can upload a picture by tomorrow to give you a better idea.

use a floor jack and loosen the hinges on the cab..let the jack down slow and adjust to fit.. also adjust the strike plate.. p.s put floor jack on the fat part of the bottom center of door..

Check to make sure door hinge pushing a are not wore out. Open door 1/2 way an grab outside handle an rock door up an down. If you feel movement in bushings , replace them otherwise you'll just be chasing an alignment issue

Take the strike plate out first and see where the door sits. Adjust as needed for alignment and then put the strike plate in. You may find the door drops and fits better with no strike plate in there.
