fresh paint

I inherited my 77 from my grandparents who used to take me camping in it about 30 years ago. We towed about a 19 foot trailer behind it all over the Southwest. My grandmother was a little ol 4'11" farm girl who moved west during the dustbowl and preferred driving it over her 4 door Buick. My grandfather helped build the Hoover dam driving the dirt movers up and down the grades.
My 8 year old has already driven it in the local orchards and even accomplished his first "burn out" in it. It wont be leaving the family any time soon.
He had it painted blue in the late 80s and I had it redone in its original color. Only mod was adding the newer fuel door pockets.

Time to rebuild and decide on bedliner color, black or closer to body color.

sorry for topic spelling, LOL

Re: fresh paint

hey, great looking truck. you did all that in your own garage? Just curious about the color you used? my truck looks to be the same grey/silver. Im wondering the color name or color code of it? Id go with a black rhino lined bed or a bed liner. noticed the original seat, nice. my interior is the same color as well. Im assuming its a custom deluxe?

Looks really good, 77! Is it Base coat/clear coat? The paint job is evidence of a bunch of hrs. put into the body work. Very nice.

Its a a Scottsdale with a color code 17 that is apparently called medium graystone according to here. On the glove box door GM called it Saratoga Silver

yes, there was a lot of hours put into it and Im really happy with it. Even the small dings I said not to worry about, they took care of. just under 4K with the fuel pockets and its a 2 stage like you mentioned, base/clear
