Coming up this Sunday. Anybody going? Looks like I am making a trip to Kansas City, MO to pick up a fender for my 46 project. We are leaving Friday night and going to a swap meet in Independance MO (outside Kansas City, MO) on Saturday morning and going to try to buy and sell a little while I am there. Then coming back to St. Louis area and spending the night Saturday and going to the April Fools Swap meet on Sunday morning and then head home for work on Monday.

I found a NOS right front fender for my 1946 project and that is why I am even coming over. My plan as of now is to take some parts with me and set up a small space at Kansas City and hopefully buy a few items then just look at St. Louis so we can leave for home earlier. I am afraid if I get a booth Sunday, that I will get stuck inside and not get to leave until late and it is going to be a long enought weekend the way it is. Looks like 850+ miles and 2 swap meets in 2 days. I would like to sell some stuff to help pay for the trip so if you need anything that I might have just let me know and I will bring it.

I hate it when work gets in the way. When you get time, send me an email with an updated list of what you are needing so I can get stuff rounded up. Sorry is has taken me so long to get this straightened out.

And 50 degrees is a heat wave after this winter. I think it is supposed to be dry and sunny so that will be good.

No big deal. In fact I got busy and never responded to your last email. I need to get an updated list to you. I'll try tonight as I'm working in Brazil (Indiana) until Thursday.

Re: swap meet

Oh yeah. The little blue truck on the first page, it is for sale on St Louis craigslist. Started at $11,000.00 and is now at $10,000.00. Still a little to far off on the money for me.

Well, was anybody there today? Had a couple decent days at the swap meets in Independence, MO and Suaget, IL. Bought some items. Chilly mornings but warmed up.

No, I did not see the tach dash and did not look at the 69-70 grill. I think I seem damage on it from a distance did not look at it. There was a rough long bed and a decent cab in one space and a rough 67 front clip in a booth across from it. I picked up the hub cab, radio deletes and manuals at Sauget. I also picked an old pair of slicks for a wall hanger.

I picked the 67 clip and the rest of the items up over by Kansas City, MO on Saturday. I also got to stop by and see Joesjunk amazing collection of trucks and parts. Another great member that I have had the pleasure to meet.

Re: swap meet

Me and one of my guys went up. It was a nice day for a drive. The guy with the bed buys parts from me. He has been trying to peddle that bed for quite a while, pretty rough. Guess I just wasn't in a buying mood. Ready for Memphis this weekend.
