Front brake issues

I have replaced my MC, prop valve, calipers/pads and rotors. Also all new hard lines and rubber lines.

The front brakes don’t appear to be completely releasing. I’m not aware of this when driving but after I park in the garage the smell and some smoke are apparent. I jacked the front wheels up and I couldn’t turn tire/wheel by hand, after everything cooled down, then I could turn by hand. Passenger side seems the worse.

Any help appreciated.

Had that happen to me.

Forgot to add. Be aware that the MC has two different styles -shallow and deep piston and you have to use the right push rod.

I haven’t, So basically adjust the rod from the brake pedal that pushes into MC?
And adjust that so I have 1/8 inch free play. I will check later...Thank you

Great article, Thank you. Looks like I need free play. freeplay allows the master cylinder piston to return to the "at-rest" position and prevents preloading the system.
