Lets talk about laying rockers
Ok all, I have a 64 C10 Short bed fleet side I would like to put in the weeds. Ideally my plan is to swap in a 73-87 front crossmember, rear dropmember, and do a 2.5 or 3in. Z on the frame. My question is will this be enough to lay the rockers when the truck is aired out? I'm aware that I will need to address steering and trans crossmember issues, but is there anything else that I will encounter? Ive been reading as much as I can, but more knowledge means more questions as my ideas grow.

Re: Lets talk about laying rockers
You can drop the body mounts an inch to get the body down where you want it. You will have to remount the bed as well.

Re: Lets talk about laying rockers
Will that still clear my floor or will I need to channel it if I go that route?

Re: Lets talk about laying rockers
You will clear the floor. No sectioning needed.

Re: Lets talk about laying rockers
If I go with that how much will need to be adjusted to further clear? Like steering, trans tunnel, etc.

Re: Lets talk about laying rockers
Steering, tranny tunnel, possibly a bit of your fire wall depending on engine position. This build shows a lot: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=269019
