That's NOT what I wanted to hear. However, when you're right... you're right.

Re: Air ride cab???

Air ride cab..... bad idea, however I've seriously considered getting some air ride seats out of a rig to put in my truck. It would make logging roads a helluva lot nicer

Re: Air ride cab???

Trouble with those seats is that they sit you up about 12" to 15" off the floor.

Re: Air ride cab???

Fab some brackets so the air ride bags sit even with the bottom of the frame rather than trying to stuff 'em in the top.
As long as you're not pissing blood after a couple of hundred miles, you ain't got a rough ride.

Extra padding in the seat works too.

Re: Air ride cab???

I'm just tired of plowing my noggin into the roof of my truck, things can get a little hectic in an empty 3/4 ton on a dirt road

However... you could build a sub frame for the cab and front end then you could put airbags on the cab.

Or this.

Re: Air ride cab???

As a former truck driver you can get some fairly low seats, but they would require you to move your fuel tanks plus mod the floor.
