That's not a bad price if it's solid and in good mechanical condition. It could use a little less make-up for sure. It's a K/20. GMC would be a K2500

Looks like some of those "after market parts" put holes in the body, lots of holes. And the spot lights are mounted awfully high. They might create blind spots for you. Looks good otherwise under all it's "makeup". I'm not sure that's the original bumper for it either. But $5k, not bad.

The high mount lights look like a plow set up. I'd be weary of this one, looks WAY to nice to be a plow truck. I'd bet the camera helps cover a bit.

Is it just me, or is that thing really leaning hard?

I think it's the pillar mounted spot lamps he was referring to.

Where are the CB whips and air horns??? Yeah,a 40 some year old plow truck from NY makes you wonder how it's all held together. But,look at the chrome on the wheels. They'd be rusted from the first time the plow dropped. If it was recently redone and hasn't seen salt, then why was the plow detained? Maybe the owner wanted to build an example of trucks from out of the late-70s.

It has a later front axle I see

Here is a video of the truck running.. and you know, looking at this truck I would bet that that truck was never plowed with..I will even bet you that they don't have a plow blade for it and the only reason the plow frame is on the truck is just for the extra lights!!!!

Looks like he ordered one of everything out of the 1984 JC Whitney catalog... 67-72 4x4s are hard to come by around here so all in all not a bad price

Not sure if it's just poor lighting or what, but the paint looks different between the bed and cab/clip.
