heater core question.

The heater core looks like it will fit and function fine ,I was just hoping for copper and brasss like the original .I compared it side by side with the original one from my 72 so Im sure it will work just fine .I will let ya'll know if I ever get to that project as it is for my 1 ton which I have not playrd with yet.

I don't believe so, and don't recall any special instructions when bought new.

With an aluminum heater core, you will need to be sure that you have all the grounds connected properly, and maintain the coolant. Any lack of ground, or electrolysis due to lack of ground will lead to heater core failure.

Re-read this and I now think Steeveedee is referring to grounding of the engine itself, which it is/ should be anyway.
