Trans change
Just wondering if a TH350 is a direct swap in if my 67 c10 has a powerglide now.

Re: Trans change
Should be as long as the tail shafts are the same length. Tail shafts were 6", 9" and maybe some more. If the overall length is the same you should be good.

Re: Trans change
Besides the different length of the transmission, the driveshaft yoke is different. A driveshaft shop can swap it out and adjust the length if needed. Here's a pretty helpful diagram I found today that shows the different dimensions of GM transmissions.

Re: Trans change
Cool, I was worried about the shift linkage location more than anything, but will give it a shot!

Re: Trans change
With a 6 inch tailshaft its a direct swap , yoke is the same on a 68 , not 100 % sure on 67 but 90% sure its the same . There are various kick down differences , your powerglide has a rod , turbo 350'S either have a cable or an electric kickdown , both very easy to adapt . If you have a column shift it will fit but the detent for low will be missing

Re: Trans change
Powerglide, TH350, 200R4, and 700R4 all share the same yoke. TH400 is the only oddball.
