Wtb inner roof lip patch
Looking for the passenger side roof lip patch. I taped off the area I need. The patch is 10 long and 3 inch tall. I prefer original sheetmetal over the sorta fit aftermarket stuff.
Thank you. Scott 913-314-6233

Re: Wtb inner roof lip patch
Awesome thanks Randy. I got my metal a little thin and started chasing welds. I got the headliner in today that you sold me.

Re: Wtb inner roof lip patch
Scott,
It was good to meet you yesterday! Thanks for the great Bumper! I have a 71' cab I am not going to use, so if you need patches, I can do that......let me know what you need, I know there will be pieces I'm going to need, but I'm sure I won't need it all. Ben |

Re: Wtb inner roof lip patch
Scott,
I just emailed Randy to see if might be interested in a swb frame I have. it has some damage to it that had been repaired(rather sloppy job) but everything behind the front crossmember/cradle appears straight. If you know someone who may be looking to shorten a long wheelbase frame, this would be an excellent stub to use for shortening. I gave Randy first dibs, but he may not want it, and I don't want to haul it any where, so if no one steps up, it's going to the scrap yard. let me know. the damaged area has a piece of "Angle Iron" welded onto it, and a big pile of bird crap welds you can see it where the left front shock is, and right behind the front cradle/crossmember Ben |

Re: Wtb inner roof lip patch
Ben I need both Core Support Radiator Mounts that are riveted to the frame in the front. Mainly I need the one close to the Power Steering Pump because mine has been ruined by a previous owner. If you are going to scrap that frame or cut up please let me know? Also if you plan to be close to Scott or meet up with him you can give them to him.. I know where he lives and could run over or I can meet up with you. Please let me know? Thanks Brian

Re: Wtb inner roof lip patch
Scott-- Its to bad you gave me that entire roof.. I actually trashed the inner roof that would have been perfect for your patches. I know you didnt know you needed this at the time but kind of a bummer. .

Re: Wtb inner roof lip patch
Thanks Brian. I actually had saved the inner roof I cut out from my cab that the inner roof lip had just a little surface rust and I sat it outside in January for scrap before I installed the donor roof I picked up from Randy ( Teeitup ) that has the headliner option a couple of weeks ago. I should have kept it until I finished with the repair just in case. I had repaired the roof lip prior to installing it, but ended up trying to rework it a bit after I installed it and just decided it was too thin to weld on. I did repair the lip though with some scrap metal. I try to use as much original patch pieces as I can.

Re: Wtb inner roof lip patch
Scott looks good. It's funny how many things we throw out or get rid of that we need down the road.
