New rubber floor mat

I read somewhere that some of the floor mats of late have not fit very well and most recommend carpet instead.

Any suggestions where to get a good one?

Anyone familiar with the ones year one sells the offer a tan or brown one also.

How long ago has that been? It is my understanding the at least one manufacturer quit making them (possibly 2) and it/they were the company that made the good ones. The latest ones that my supplier has received are not well made.

Site vendor CaptKaos makes them for '73-87; you could check with him to see if he makes 67-72.

Less than one year ago. I can't say how long it will last, of course. But I was very happy with the fit and weight of the material.

Re: New rubber floor mat

I also got one from Classic Parts last week for 70 C20.
Fits nicely. Location of holes and molded impressions was perfect.
Sales person said these are made in USA.
Good product for 135.00

Re: New rubber floor mat

I just bought and installed one from classic parts last week. Holes and length are great, the (high) hump area is a little "baggy". Not noticeable to me. For the price, not bad.

Re: New rubber floor mat

Mat will need holes for gas pedal and seat bolts.
Made punch tool with 1/2" +/- steel tube with sharpened edge. Put piece of wood behind mat and punch out nicely cut hole.
P.S. Sboris, good looking cab, nice color.

Sboris

What did you put under yours?

How about holes for transfer case? Are they outlined or are you on your own

Re: New rubber floor mat

Serge-Thankyou

Nitis- I used the floor sound deadener 39-272. It says it's rubber, but it's really that tar like stuff with the white liner on the top similar to what was in it.
As far as the gas pedal and tab holes mine were punched..
The shift lever holes I used a hobby knife with the shift levers removed after the mat was installed and secured on the edges.
