Gotta love Georgia, somewhere along the way they felt the need to pass a law that said "Hey, don't worry about being responsible and keeping up with your title, if you lose it and want to sell your vehicle just write the VIN and sale price on a piece of paper and sign it, we will use that as a bill of sale and call it good" |

yeah i got my 69 with a BoS :/ so i need to figure out a way to track the title down..... but $900 for a 2nd owner atl born n raised farm truck...cant beat that.

It's not difficulty that's the issue. It's the ease, at least now they require a VIN check letter from the PD, until recently it's a scribbled piece of paper and a couple of bucks for a tag. Not the best way to prevent fraud and/or theft.
