Pre 87 headers on 350 tbi.

Hi, i got a set of hooker headers for my truck for cheap from a guy that bought them for his 85 k10 350 carb. Well my truck is tbi, would the headers still work or are there sensors that wont have anywhere to go now? I dont have an 02 sensor and i already have true duals. Just wondering if they'll bolt in place of the manifolds without moving a sensor around

First of all, you need an O2 sensor.

For longtubes, a heated o2 sensor is needed. Mine kept dropping out of closed loop and ran terrible with the 1 wire o2.

I got it with the cats cut off and no o2 sensor and theres no check engine light and it runs fine. I think the previous owner got it tuned. They're not long tubes though, just normal hooker competition headers.

Are you sure there's no O2 sensor on your truck currently ? Does your check engine light even come on ?
