tilt column bearing retainer cracked

Hey guys

I finally found a tilt column and in the process of rebuilding it, i saw that the plastic lower bearing retainer piece is a little cracked. not all the way, just a little. to me, once this thing is back in the column, i dont think it would have any issues, but on the other hand, if it should be replaced, id rather do it now.

do you guys replace them or just run them as is?

see pic below

thanks

Re: tilt column bearing retainer cracked

I always replace them just because it's cheap insurance.
