3 Speed column shifter linkage help
Need a little bit of help with my 3 speed column shifter linkage. About 7 years ago the shifter bowl on my column broke. I couldn't find a replacement, and couldn't afford a replacement column, so I spent $80 on a floor shift conversion kit from Auto Zone. Cheap piece of crap, and never felt it would work. Haven't driven the truck in that time, for various reasons. Well, I have a shift bowl coming from eBay, hopefully this week. Going to change it back to on the column.
Long story short, I seem to have misplaced some of my shifter linkage parts from the original column shifter stuff. I've searched the forums, and done multiple searches on Google, and can't find an answer. I'm looking for what the part is called that bolts onto the side of the transmission that the shift rods connect to, and possibly where to find a replacement. Or, really, where to find replacements for all the shifter linkage parts. Any help would be appreciated, and thanks in advance to any and all. -Patrick |

Re: 3 Speed column shifter linkage help
I called them shifter arms and the salvage yard knew what I was talking about. I got my linkage from one of the forum members search the classifieds

Re: 3 Speed column shifter linkage help
Thanks for the reply. Just got to work, and doing my normal "browse the internet until time to go home" deal. Already in the first 15 minutes I've found more closely matched searches on Google. Should be able to find what I need now. =) Thanks, man.
