The option sticker for my 70 4x4 says;
Option # 4553AA
White/Hugger Orange
So 72 must not have been the only year.

That is a nice truck, I wonder what the reserve is. Even has the data from under the seat, and Hugger on the glove box, wow!

I guess it boils down to the fact that I cant decide on to go with White and Hugger Orange or Regular Orange.
Any opinions on what would look best on my 72 3/4 Ton 4x4 Cheyenne Super?
It is all original. With that regular orange with no white. Just solid orange.
I'm thinking two tone White Orange would look better though.
Just cant decide what orange.

I think in the case of your truck I would restore it back as it left the factory.
In order to have the top white would require the color seperator chrome strip around the rear of the cab below the window. I am not sure what it would require to add this as there were attachment points that are on the cab itself.
The only things that I would look at changing would be:
Gas fill door to one that would match the body color
Smaller sport mirrors
Original grill
Stock wheels and original caps

As you can tell I am an advocate for the original look

Just my opinion

I value your opinion.
Yah. I should just restore it to original.
I'm sort of a purist also.
At least with the Cheyenne Super, I should restore it to original.
Finding the original 3/4 to 4x4 hubcaps will be a chore.
And then you hope someone doesn't steal them.
