My new 1964 C30

I got this last week, here are some pictures. I am not sure what I am going to do with it yet though lol. It was a farm truck for a while, then a college guy had it as his ride for the last few years. It starts right up and rides pretty decent.

Neat; also neat to see another Kelsey Hayes trailer brake controller.

FWIW, the grill is just a 50-90 series (I think?) grill with the "CHEVROLET" removed from the top. One of my trucks has one, although it has the letters welded in behind the bowtie:

Re: My new 1964 C30

that grille comes from a large truck, C-60 or so. The grille shell opening on those trucks is taller, and the grille has "Chevrolet" on top. I had one in my suburban for a while, with the Chevrolet letters removed from the top, as is that one. They are not really that hard to find.

oops...didn't notice submarines post on that grille before I posted this.

Re: My new 1964 C30

here's picture of mine....with added bars. It also had the bowtie, not shown in this picture. Tony Smith (4-5-6 Chevy Trucks) supplied me with a correct 63 aluminum grille, so this one is no longer in the truck.

Nice C30! Definitely a good lookin' truck.

You can find those grilles on old buses and big trucks. They are different and cool.

I think the chromed bus grille (not mine) with the CHEVROLET badge inside is awesome! I might do that with mine.
