Door rattle?
I can't seem to stop my passenger door from rattling like mad. It hits the rocker sill and has removed paint. If I move the hinges up, the body lines don't match.
Are there shims that go into the latch area to keep it from moving? Maybe something on the sill? Any help and photos would be appreciated. |

Re: Door rattle?
This link covers converting truck doors into blazer doors so its a bit off topic, but there are good pics that show the different parts of the door. It may help you figure out if you're missing something.

Re: Door rattle?
Great link! That has the info I was looking for. Thanks.
My hinges may be suspect, but I am missing the top brass plates for sure. Gonna check LMC. |

Re: Door rattle?
Check the body bushings as well. If they are worn or loose, they will allow the body to flex and rattle.

Re: Door rattle?
Keep checking the K5 parts board. You can also put a want to buy ad in the wtb section. You may have to be a paid member i believe, but could be wrong.
