i haven't seen this style, I have 2 trucks that have like a little sheild on top more for protection from the fan, so I guess a fan guard. Is there another piece like the V-8?

The pieces above are not really a fan shroud. They are what directs the air thru the radiator. These bolt to the radiator support and extend to the smaller 6 cyl radiator that sits on the lower lip of the radiator crossmember.
